Sarah Shahi - Biography
Aahoo is her Persian name (Persian: Ahw), is Persian
meaning "gazelle". She is an descendant
of Fath Ali Shah Qajar, Qajar
Dynasty. In 1997, Shahi won Miss Fort
Worth. She was a member of the Dallas
Cowboys Cheerleaders (1999-1900) team to try and become an actress. In her films and series she has appeared in a variety of
characters in crime thrillers and detective roles. She was also participant in
Funny Faces (2012-2016), which was a CBS crime-thriller series. Aahoo Jahansozshahi grew up in Euless Texas. She is the daughter of Abbas Jahansuz Shahi (an interior
designer) and Mahmonir Sorushazar (an interior designer). When she was just 10 years old, her parents divorced. Shahi was introduced to Robert Altman when she was an extra
on the 2012 Monte Carlo TV Festival set of Doctor T and Woman In Texas. Robert
Altman advised Shahi to take on an acting career in Hollywood by suggesting.
