Rochon was raised in Torrance. Rochon was the daughter of Zelma Staples (a nurse practitioner) and Samuel Staples (a businessman and graphic artist). Rochon is a 1982 graduate of Cerritos High School, located in Cerritos, California. Ullerup's debut role was of Julia Brynn on the remake television series of Battlestar Galactica in 2006, which aired on the Sci Fi Channel. The fans were furious over her departure, and many wanted to see her return in future episodes. Sanctuary ended 2012, but not before there was a heated controversy. Ullerup starred as Bree O'Brien on Chesapeake Shores in 2016. Ullerup was Maggie Thomas the estranged husband of Michael Thomas. Ullerup was Dale Travers, a recurring role on Hallmark's Signed, Sealed, Delivered films, from 2016 to the present.
