Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell (born 25th August, 1949) is an American television chef and host. She also was an instructor for the Institute of Culinary Education. Anne W. Burrell is the host of Secrets of a Restaurant Chef on the Food Network, as well as co-hosting Worst Cooks in America. Her signature spiky blonde hair and pumped-up personality Anne Burrell eliminates the intimidation of restaurant dishes and reveals straightforward, simple techniques to master to cook at home in her Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant Chef. Chef Burrell was a student and worked at the top New York restaurants. He also battled Iron Chef America and the culinary landscape of Italy. Growing up in upstate New York, Chef Burrell was captivated by cooking and food at an early age. The Culinary Institute of America sparked her interest in managing restaurants when she received the English and Communications degree from Canisius College Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America was a wonderful experience for me. I couldn't learn or do enough. Following graduation from the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners and chef Burrell was able to spend a whole year in Italy learning and working in La Taverna del Lupo restaurant located in Umbria as well as La Bottega del 30 one Michelin rating in Tuscany. Burrell gained a greater knowledge of Italian culture and cuisine during her stay in Italy, which has influenced her cooking style. Burrell was the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board participant, with the goal of to increase the lives of kids who are facing difficulties. Burrell also serves as a Juvenile Disease Research Foundation's celebrity ambassador and advocates awareness of childhood diabetes. She speaks about her cooking passion and shares her experiences in the food world as she frequently is in the United States for the roles of speakers and mentors. Anne has said during her career in the kitchen that she feels so fortunate to have the opportunity to be able to share what's most important to her.
